Make Butland captain. Get rid of Tav and Goldson and build a new defence to give us a chance of success with defenders that can defend well. Put Sterling RB as vice captain. If Tav and Goldson are still here and regular starters we are doomed before a ball is kicked. The defence needs a complete rebuild. Butland, Sterling RB and Jefte LB with 2 new CBs as starters required, with Nsiala, King, Balogun, Souttar for rotation. I would rather get rid of Souttar and Davies as well to be honest but I would take getting Tav and Goldson out. Otherwise hand Celtic the title just now. Thats how bad they are defensively and at their age they aren't going to improve. If Clement sticks with them he is clueless and setting himself up for the sack, just like the last two managers. Also hell no to Kenny Mclean. Worse than Lundstram.

Natural replacement of Ryan Jack in terms position and being from Aberdeen for the European squad requirements… high energy, great ability and already had over 100 first team appearances at only 21 between Aberdeen and a couple of lower league loan spells, couple of injured spells already too though so let’s hope he’s not similar to Ryan Jack in that sense and let’s hope a lot more trophies come in his time at the club too 👍🏻💪🏻

We need players conducive to our club and way of playing - not badge kissers who demand more money than they're worth - those days need gone. !!! In respect of the board - this is where they come into the transfer fore. They must make it clear the aforementioned. What I've stated is fact and truth. The other mhob always sign 'their own' and get those extra yards off them. Even the burger sellers support the team, are faithful. Everyone moves in the right direction and that makes the difference - every wee detail. We are a club that needs everyone happy at work, and Rangers - not solely a job for them - but a way of life !! We need our own, WATP. 🇬🇧 Now, I realise that the days are gone where we have 11 Durranty's or Barry Ferguson types. I'm no that far gone !! Overall, they say "things are better nowadays" - now I'm no so sure. On a more serious note, y'know I began this comment airing my angst: Rangers never seem to carry any luck where transfer windows are concerned. It has never been as imperative as today's time to get 'our decisions right' where player transfer is concerned 😮 😮 Whether that's because of the signings we make - are then plagued by injuries - indeed from the late 90s 🤔 that story has played out time after time. Rewind to players being signed carrying knocks and we don't receive the potential from them. Or an important player for us always suffers a season-ending injury early on. Take Kemar Roofe for instance - talk about luck 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🥺 Recently the two south Americans: Danilo, who we have no words to comprehend what 'could've been' had we an injury free striker 😢 The young Oscar Cortés, the winger who lit 🔥 up Ibrox and had us all off our seats for that short period. We have to reason with situations like the José Cifuentes - Mince Mick's beast of midfielder. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We aw know that Mick Beale would charm the 🐦🐦 oot the trees 🌳 But when signing players from exotic countries, or the other side of the world, we need to ensure they'll be somewhat comfortable with living and working in Scotland. They need to know what they'll be in store for, Scottish football, even down to something like the weather 😮 Every detail must be clearly investigated with these players. We need to be sure they wish to be competitive and in a high pressured environment. Rangers is a unique club, not like any other. Those incoming players and 'ourselves' both have a duty to help get the best out the player, under these unique footballing circumstances. Right, fine. You can't legislate for things like that, see the future with injuries suffered - well, to an EXTENT YOU CANNOT. BUT - With the size and staff of the medical team these days, the sports science etcétera 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤨 We CANNOT AFFORD any mishaps - ANYWHERE - in and out the squad. It was clear our manager was not happy with aspects of the backroom staff, the medical staff were clearly not performing well or to the level required. For example, Chris Wilder at Sheffield United made it be known that he is clearing decks with his medical staff for next season, it tells us that this can be more common than once thought 🤔 ❓ We need the best at Rangers - we want changes for the season ahead!! We haven't heard or seen any movement from that side of things 🤔 Thus, I do hope there's going to be lesson's learned; and indeed some transfers and business occurring from that department next season.🏬 Additionally, I spoke about the board early on. That they have a part to play and I hope they are putting the Rangers stamp onto both our foreign manager and D.O.F. For example, my heart sank once again (one of many times fae 2012) during a presser following a defeat. John Lundstrum was asked,"do you need to speak to the new players about the size and demands of this club?????" (Live on both Sky and BTsports this question gets asked repeatedly, bytheway.) He replied nonchalantly, "NO, they know that WHEN THEY SIGN, THEY SEE THE SIZE OF IT EVERYDAY".😮 Our Captain and vice captain also asked these kinda questions. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ENOUGH EMPHASIS NOR PASSION, from any quizzed by journos. We've even developed 'fan media' due to the non impartiality from the reporters/writers. The lies and defamation at various times; nothing positive when it was there; times, situations above, where attempts to make our own look stupid, to fall into their trap fora headline - and oh boy - in the past they've had successes at it 😳 Going back to the not so recent past, those asked about the size of our club and how, as journalists put it, "take new players aside and drum it into their heads about Glasgow Rangers - it's no 'just any other club' that they are dealing with now!!????" Henceforth - the Scottish journalism world laughing at us, as a club - because the answer from vital players querying was a big fat NO. Jeez oh, the sharks 🦈 😳 are actually giving our players tips, for what to do in the dressing room!!! How embarrassing is that 😳 😬 😳 Like, you hear Souness gabbing nowadays what went on at Rangers. When all the English boys signed - they got it drummed into them that it was Glasgow Rangers now - we're unique !! You give your all & more - because your all ain't good enough!! They revved new players up; with the history, traditions, what is expected & acceptable, how it's a pressure cooker and we must be at the boil for this special club. Heart on your sleeve. Beating celtic. The importance of winning - a draw is not acceptable. All these things, you've heard Ferguson admit when he was captain. Nacho Novo, too. Och, too many memorables. Nonetheless, our 'nowadays' players seem casual and nonchalantly when asked about the importance of an ingrained mind of Rangers. Quote one John Lundstrum, for example. "They know the size when they sign, don't need me to tell them." Words of the effect of, "I don't need to take them in a corner that's the manager's job when they sign." Right there, the latter - that's what is wrong with our club. I see 👀 what's happening at Rangers and see it as a sickness needing cured. And the first thing is to gub said attitudes. That's why I go back to the strong point of signing bluenoses 💪 I am delighted with young Connor - BUT WE NEED MORS OF THAT - WE NEED THE BEST SCOTTISH TALENT 😮 Imperative that we have 'our own' in the team - and by the way that includes those that surround our players - like Alex Rae, for instance. However that's not enough. The old guard has gone. People like Tiny Gallagher and family, who gave their all for the Gers. Never ever never nunca nunca nunca never never never never never never UNDERESTIMATE the importance, the power, of being surrounded by 'the people' Our own kinda people 💯 WATP NS 🇬🇧 My wish is for someone high up in Rangers to read the above in full ⬆️ ⬆️
